Ian Williams, a UK-based property services company within the education, commercial and housing sectors has announced it has achieved the prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) President’s Award for its health and safety practices.
Presented as a result of Ian Williams having received 10 consecutive Gold Awards, the coveted President’s Award celebrates consistently high levels of performance in occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Richard Parry, Safety, Health and Environmental Manager for Ian Williams commented: “This is a terrific accomplishment for us as an organisation and an honour to receive the President’s award. It’s an absolute endorsement of how we place health and safety at the heart of our business, so that our employees can work safely, day in and day out.
“We’re committed to delivering what our customers need whenever and wherever they need it, and our teams are working in hundreds of properties across the UK daily, carrying out skills like painting, M+E, roofing and plumbing. Ian Williams is due to be presented with the award at a ceremony in July.
