People and change management specialist Tara Deller-Hoy has been announced as the British Board of Agremént’s new Operations Director, further strengthening the organisation’s new-look Senior Management Team.
Tara brings with her solid experience in managing large operations and workforces, with particular focus on staff development and operational change.
Prior to joining the BBA Tara spent 24 years in the rail industry, where her career started as a train driver for Heathrow Express, rising to become Operations Standards Manager before moving to London Overground as Head of Drivers. In 2014 she was seconded to Crossrail to recruit and train operational staff after which she moved to South West Trains, successfully updating the organisation’s management structure and overseeing 1,200 drivers and 13 depots with a budget of £55m before moving to West Midlands Trains as Head of Workforce Strategy.
In her new role at the BBA she is responsible for directing and coordinating resources to deliver the company’s policies, goals and objectives to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, with a focus on the implementation of client-centric business guidelines and strategies to ensure exceptional customer experience across the board. Tara’s role supports Chief Executive Hardy Giesler and his fellow directors - including recently appointed Technical Director Professor Bill Hewlett - in their systemic approach to culture change and performance improvement.
