Casella has announced its schedule of industry-leading webinars for 2024 focusing on environmental hazard monitoring, covering noise, air sampling, and vibration.
The schedule of free-to-attend, accessible webinars cover Casella’s core areas of expertise, including workplace monitoring for noise, environmental boundary, hand and arm vibration, and asbestos sampling, as well as instrumentation usage and best practice.
Reaching worldwide attendees, two sessions will be run on each date, one at 10am and a later session at 3pm to ensure learners across multiple time zones can benefit. Each webinar will conclude with a Q&A session to recap what was discussed.
Webinars focusing on the topic of noise will cover workplace noise regulations, employer responsibilities regarding noise control and detail about understanding parameters and exposure calculations. Other webinars cover the use of instruments such as sound level meters and noise dosimeters, with practical advice and best practice.
For air sampling, Casella is offering webinars that teach participants to correctly calibrate and use air sampling pumps as well as the standards, requirements and methodologies pertaining to the practice of air sampling. More specific webinars will touch on the monitoring of specific airborne hazards such as asbestos and other harmful dusts.
Casella is also offering webinars on the data required for environmental monitoring including the key parameters expected for noise, particulate and vibration within regulations, another will explain the proper installation and usage of these boundary monitoring units. For Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS), a webinar reviewing terminology about HAV measurement, legislation and exposure limits, as well as how to measure exposure on the tool correctly and subsequently calculate exposure levels.
