A SOUND PARTNERSHIP FOR NORTH AMERICA

Daren Wallis, CEO of Cirrus Research

UK acoustic instrument specialists Cirrus Research plc has announced the formation of an exclusive partnership with NoiseMeters Inc for the distribution of sound measurement equipment in the USA with immediate effect.  NoiseMeters has supplied sound level meters and noise dosimeters to the US for over 20 years through their successful online retail business. By working with Cirrus Research they hope to become a dominant force for sound measurement in the country.

While Cirrus Research, who recently celebrated their 50th anniversary, currently export their instruments all over the world, the partnership with NoiseMeters will allow Cirrus Research to accelerate their ambitious growth plans in North America.

Daren Wallis, CEO of Cirrus Research, said: "We have worked alongside Noisemeters in the UK for many years, and now by partnering with their US business Noisemeters Inc we will have access to significant sales in the US. Whilst Cirrus Research has ventured into the US market already, today's announcement accelerates our ambition for the company to take this further.”

NoiseMeters is already well-established in the US and is dedicated to meeting its customers' needs, both present and future. Andrew Snell, Managing Director of NoiseMeters, commented: "We are particularly excited to have the opportunity to sell Cirrus Research's newest cloud-based noise monitoring products. Yet again, they have developed something that will be a real game-changer in how businesses and industry manage their noise impacts on people and the environment."

In addition to the exclusive distribution rights for Cirrus Research products, NoiseMeters will work directly with Cirrus Research to set up a fully authorised Service and Calibration Centre for acoustic and vibration measurement instruments.  This will ensure that US customers can take advantage of Cirrus Research's industry-beating 15-year warranty. "Not only will we be able to offer service and recalibration of Cirrus-branded instruments, but also those of other familiar names within the noise safety market", said Sue Upp, Regional Sales Director of NoiseMeters Inc.

The US occupational safety and environmental markets demand nothing but the best when it comes to instrument reliability and performance. From sound level meters and award-winning noise dosimeters to human vibration analyzers; this is something Cirrus Research has delivered to its loyal customers for over 50 years.
