Peoplesafe Partners With Crimestoppers to Keep Communities Safer

Personal safety expert Peoplesafe has partnered with independent charity Crimestoppers, who have worked for almost 35 years, supporting people to speak up anonymously about crime. The new partnership will involve campaigns and awareness raising of personal safety issues with a wider audience, and aims to fulfil the mission to help keep people safe.

Crimestoppers performs a key role within the public, private and law enforcement sectors, providing telephone and online services through which people can pass on vital information about crime, 100% anonymously. That means no personal details are ever asked for or stored by Crimestoppers. They just listen and then pass on what you know to the relevant law enforcement agency.

Peoplesafe is an industry-leading, technology-led, employee-safety business. Through its range of safety devices, every worker – from those at the highest risk down to the lowest risk – can benefit from 24/7 protection.

Peoplesafe apps and safety devices currently protect over 200,000 people, providing businesses and employees with instant access to a state-of-the-art Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) both in and out of working hours.

Peoplesafe CEO, Naz Dossa, said: “We are very proud to announce our new partnership with Crimestoppers, which reflects our own Peoplesafe mission to increase safety for people in and outside of work, on our streets and within our communities. Peoplesafe is not just about providing tech solutions. We want to help tackle the problem at source.

“It has long been our aim to amplify the issue of personal safety amongst UK institutions and businesses and we hope that this new partnership will help us drive this forward. Everyone has the right to feel safe and to be safe.”

Rodger Holden, Director of Development at the charity Crimestoppers, commented: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Peoplesafe. Our charity is always keen to work with those organisations who share our values of keeping people and communities safe from the harm caused by crime.”
