RHCV INVESTS IN HEALTH AND SAFETY

As part of its continued investment RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV) has appointed its first in-house Group Health, Safety and Facilities Manager.

The independent Renault Trucks distributor continues to expand its management team, having added two new sites to the group in the past three months. Strategically located across the East Midlands RHCV is now one of the largest independent Renault Trucks dealers in the country.

George Richardson has joined the team in this brand-new role and reflects the company’s continued expansion and investment.    

RHCV has expanded from four sites to six sites since May this year - across the East Midlands – with new locations in Newark and Peterborough and recognises a growing need to be able to support its team with in-house expertise.    

Nigel Baxter, Managing Director at RHCV comments: “I am delighted to welcome George to the RHCV family.  As we have grown it has become increasingly clear that the high demands of health & safety compliance are ever increasing.  We work in a ‘risk’ sector and it’s important that we have ensure our processes and policies are of the highest standards to keep our staff and customers safe.”  

George has 25 years’ experience in health & safety and environmental management and his track record covers all aspects of the discipline as well as facilities management, construction design management, fire management, food production retail, transport management, warehouse operations with leading multi-national companies.

George commented: “It’s a really exciting time for RHCV and I am thrilled about working with the growing team at such a dynamic time for the company.”   

RHCV has been selling, leasing, servicing, and repairing heavy (HGV) and light commercial (LCV) vehicles across the East Midlands for over four decades and employs 140 staff.
