The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has awarded Salisbury Group a prestigious Gold Award for excellence in health and safety practices.
The Gold Award recognises Salisbury Group's high level of performance, well-developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss.
The internationally-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards is the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK. Julia Small, RoSPA's Head of Qualifications, Awards and Events, said: "The RoSPA Awards are the most highly-respected in the health and safety arena, with almost 2,000 entrants every year, and allow organisations to prove excellence in the workplace, demonstrating a commitment to the wellbeing of not only employees but all those who interact with it."
Ed Swales, CEO of Salisbury Group, added: "We are delighted to receive this award from RoSPA. Being presented with a Gold Award is a mark of the importance we attach to the safety and health of our employees, client staff, customers and building visitors.
“Since being awarded a Silver Award in 2016, we have continuously improved our processes and introduced new innovations that are helping us to provide safer environments in which to work and visit. The Gold Award is great news for everyone at Salisbury Group and an affirmation of our approach to safety and health."
RoSPA will present Salisbury Group with its award during a ceremony at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on 4th July 2018.
