BOLLÉ SAFETY LAUNCHES NEW MODELS AT A+A

BOLLÉ SAFETY LAUNCHES NEW MODELS AT A+A

Bollé Safety is launching two new models to complete its range of protective goggles for a variety of industrial sectors. The new GLOBE (available from September) and SPECTRUM (from January 2024) models, together with the UNIVERSAL model (available from June), will be presented by the brand at the A+A trade fair in Germany from 24-27 October.

Although essential, many professionals are not satisfied with the protective goggles provided to them. They are often too heavy, offer limited coverage, restrict the field of vision, and frequently cause fogging issues. These flaws are numerous and hinder professionals in their daily tasks.

To address user concerns in the industrial sector while ensuring optimal safety, Bollé Safety is introducing two new models in its range of goggles.

GLOBE, a model that combines protection, comfort and quality

• A product that provides Type B impact resistance (the highest for goggles) per European standard EN166.

• A PLATINUM Lite coating that protects goggles from scratches and slows down the appearance of fogging.

• A goggle that guarantees optimum visibility thanks to its panoramic field of vision.

• A flexible, slightly translucent PVC frame for improved perception of the environment.

This product has been available since September.

SPECTRUM, a mid to top of the range goggle

• A goggle available in two sizes: small and standard, to adapt to users' faces.

• A PLATINUM or PLATINUM Lite coating to protect goggles against scratches and slow down the appearance of fogging.

• A product available with or without foam, for greater comfort and moisture absorption in hot environments.

• A bi-material frame: TPR2** for greater flexibility and comfort and PC3*** for greater impact resistance and optical clarity.

• A product that adapts to prescription glasses: slots on the goggle allowing most prescription glasses to fit perfectly under the goggles, without pressure points.

• Clear lenses for natural colour perception and comfortable vision, and smoked lenses to protect users from UV rays.

This product will be available in January 2024.

UNIVERSAL, the most advanced goggle on the market

A model at the cutting edge of innovation:

• Wave technology: the goggle is designed with an accordion bellows system that adapts to the shape of the wearer's face and distributes the goggle’s pressure perfectly over the entire face, guaranteeing an optimised fit for every morphology and every individual.

• A bi-material frame: TPR for greater flexibility and comfort and PC for greater impact resistance and optical clarity.

• A product that offers Type B impact resistance (the highest for goggles) in accordance with EN166 standard.

• Panoramic vision to limit blind spots with a polycarbonate lens.

• An exclusive PLATINUM coating that protects the goggles from scratches and slows down fogging.

• A product that adapts to prescription glasses: slots on the mask allow most prescription glasses to fit perfectly under the goggle, without pressure points.

The UNIVERSAL goggle is easy to dismantle, allowing materials to be recycled separately (TRP, PC and Nylon), and is packaged in a high-density polyethylene bag that is 100% recycled and recyclable. This model is also compatible with a face shield designed to protect the lower part of the face. This can be easily and intuitively clipped onto all versions of the UNIVERSAL goggle.

The product has been available since June.

Vincent Azibert, Bollé Safety Product Director, said: "With the launch of GLOBE and SPECTRUM, we offer workers in the industrial sector a complete range of protective goggles. The three products, GLOBE, SPECTRUM and UNIVERSAL, combine protection and comfort to enable professionals to work in complete safety. The range can therefore be adapted to suit all users' needs, in terms of features, design, types of work and price."
