A growing software company based in the North East has announced a further expansion, with the addition of two key hires, as it strives towards ambitious targets.
Notify Technology, the creator of the a free-forever incident reporting app, and their full-service platform, Notify, raised £1-2m investment in November 2018, to help boost product innovation and sales & marketing investment.
To ramp up both sales and expertise, the firm has welcomed Tristan Meears-White as Subject Matter Expert. Tristan brings extensive Health & Safety compliance expertise to the Notify team and will help deliver real-world insight to Notify’s expanding client base.
Tristan has been cited as a “key individual” by Chambers UK and Legal 500 for his extensive knowledge and experience across Health and Safety and Regulatory Law, thanks to his pragmatic approach, excellence in regulatory compliance and acumen in providing sound advice to organisations.
He brings over 20 years’ experience in Safety, Health and Environmental regulation, having acted in numerous fatal accident cases and high-profile H&S and environmental matters across a range of sectors.
Tristan’s addition to the team will help ensure that the Notify platform benefits from his extensive understanding of Health & Safety laws and regulation. As well as helping provide assurance through the platform, Tris will deliver much-needed insight and real-life examples across a variety of hot topics on a regular basis.
Speaking of his recent decision to join the Notify “#SafetyRevolution”, he stated: “Notify is a unique product and is leading the way in reporting and capturing H&S incident and risk. I have not seen anything to compare with it in terms of quality and ease of use. It is a genuine thrill to be even a small part of such a great team as we grow and develop the proposition and I am so excited to be involved!”
Notify has also added Paul Duff as Customer Acquisition Executive, tasked with helping the organisation expand its reach across target sectors through the addition of new clients. Bringing comprehensive sales experience gained across Telecoms and IT roles, Duff will be key to assisting Notify’s CEO, Duncan Davies, to add more businesses on to the software platform.
Paul explained: “I’ve grown up around technology and am really interested in, and passionate about, how it can better everyday lives, especially when it comes to health, safety and wellbeing. When looking for a new role, I was very clear that I wanted to build a career, not just take a job, and the Notify mission is definitely something I can see myself working on for many years to come.”
