Easi-Dec supports customers with certification

Published on 05/01/2014
Easi-Dec, the working at height safety specialist, is providing contractors and installers with a comprehensive training course to ensure the correct installation methods are followed when working with its range of safety access solutions.
“Training is vital for anyone working in an environment where safety is a day-to-day risk”, said Mike Slasor, Easi-Dec training officer. “Knowing the pressure that our customers face to complete their projects, we want to ensure we don’t take up too much of their time. For this reason, we have developed one course which covers the full Easi-Dec portfolio and results in a formal certification.”
The courses run weekly throughout the UK and provide up to eight people per session with both practical and theory based training. Over 16,000 contractors and installers have already completed the course since it began in 2001. By offering a ‘Train the Trainer’ section, attendees can leave the session with the skills to educate other staff members in the office. A free DVD that recaps the key points covered in the course is provided at the end of the day.
Easi-Dec already has an established network of national training branches in Sandy, Wandsworth, Bradford and Cradley Heath and will be expanding on this with a new site due to open in Scotland early next year.
Part of the Kee Safety Group, Easi-Dec has a reputation for producing innovative solutions to problems relating to safe working at height. The company designs and produces equipment that is safe, simple and robust for use on site in compliance with all current regulations. The range encompasses solar array installation systems, roof access platforms including engineered walkways, Edge protection and ladder safety products.
